The Skwirrel is nearly an icon in the world of children's electric wheelchairs. With this wheelchair, handicapped children are able to play with other children in the forest, move around the house, participate in school, etc. The seat is even height-adjustable, providing the child with manoeuvrability to match that of healthy children. Indes established a project team (together with Huka and electronics co-maker Matrix), which was responsible for the development. Indes bore responsibility for project management. The result is a product that scores high marks for image and ergonomics and that operates in a user- and maintenance-friendly manner. It has been a market leader for over a decade!
